The University of Gloucestershire comprises three campuses across Cheltenham and Gloucester and was awarded university status in 2001 following the merger of numerous institutions. 9,200 students are currently enrolled from over 60 different countries.
Gloucestershire courses feature local and international field trips, a variety of work experience opportunities, and learning industry-related skills. The university is proud of what students learn and how well-equipped they are, so much so that 96% of Gloucestershire graduates are in work or further study (Graduate Outcomes 2023) within 15 months.
The university recently received a silver rating in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) with “very high-quality” student experience and outcomes and ‘outstanding quality’ overall in staff professional development and academic practice. This speaks volumes about teaching quality and students’ positive outlook when studying here.
Gloucestershire also made the UK’s top 20 for career prospects in the WhatUni Student Choice Survey 2023.
