The University of Bedfordshire has an educational heritage dating back to 1882. Today, it prides itself on widening access to degree-level education, and its courses focus on building skills and increasing employability. Its 20,000 students come from more than 100 countries and are spread across five campuses in Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and Putteridge Bury, with its Luton and Bedford campuses as little as 25 and 40 minutes from London by train.
